I started locking my bike outside in our locked & gated parking lot like my neighbors were doing (hauling a bike up and down the stairs is no fun) and it was going well until last week when someone cut the lock off it in the middle of the night. I found out thmy neighbor’s bike had also been stolen.
I might invest in a folding bike at some point so I can store it in my trunk or apartment easily.
Jerks! Is there a place to store it in the stairs area? When JD and I lived in an apartment we used a utility closet in our common area and no one seemed to mind or disturb them.
Otherwise, just look on the bright side…hauling that thing upstairs is more exercise, right? 🙂
ha! No room now. That picture is pretty old… No shelving is up, etc.
A great option is to put a bike hook from the ceiling in the corner and hang it. It is out of the way and makes for good art!
