Charley of Skunkwerks Soap Co. (formerly from MO) has started a new Houston Soapmakers Meetup Group that meets once a month. We had our first meeting on Sunday and I’m trying out his Pine Tar Soap in the shower now. He’s got a lot of great ideas for the group. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with!
I’m going to be in Austin during the next meeting at the Texas Soapmakers Association Convention, going batty over soap July 18 – 20th.
Have fun at the Texas Soapmaker’s Convention. I have a Soaphutch mold and I believe Rich was at the one last year. Post photos of all the amazing soaps you see. I’m jealous of you that you get to go batty over soaps.
I know you have a soap hutch, I keep drooling over it every time I see your pictures! I just bought an 18-bar Kelsei off of a Whisker, so I’m full up (just at the moment) on molds. Maybe next year…
Oh how cool you got a 18 Kelsei one. Those molds looks awesome as well. I’ve seen a photo of someone using the largest size (can’t remember how big it was) but it looks stunning. If I had extra dough I’d love one of those as well. Can’t wait to see photos of you using that one.
