I’m back at this wonderful 4-week long shopping event, held at The Linc Shopping Center, in the Marchesa Hall and Theater 6226 Middle Fiskville Road. It’s open 7 days a week, 10am to 10pm through Dec 24th and I keep my booth chock full of all of your feto soap favorites!
Hey lovelies! It’s that time of year again when I make the short trek to my hometown, Houston for the Winter Holiday Art Market at Winter Street studios this weekend! Here’s a peek of what I will be bringing:
This is a one-day only event! Buy original designs and vintage finds directly from 12 local Austin Collectors & Designers at the best prices. ( Gift Bags to the first 15 attendees!)
There will be sips (Dripping Springs Vodka Cocktails), treats (Cupcakes from Lick it Bite it or Both), & Feather Hair Extensions by Electric Feather Company! DESIGNERS & COLLECTORS: Katastrophic Design, Fat Cat Jewelry Studio, Bolsa Bonita, Dimovi/Vinca USA, Peacock People Vintage, Ocean Studio, Jasmine Turner, Dakota’s Vintage, Glint Gear, Trash ATX, Ruffled Clothing, Cinnamon Girl Shop and handmade bath & body products from Feto Soap.
Tidbits is your answer to the must-haves, must-sees and must-dos around town. By signing up for Tidbits, a free, editorial e-newsletter and accompanying website, you’ll receive information on the latest in fashion, food, beauty, travel, music and all other life accessories a Tidbits gal could be interested in.
Sign-up is easy. Just fill in your e-mail address in the form below.
At the holiday gift exchange, you always get stuck with a Starbucks gift card the giver bought on the way to the party. And you don’t even drink coffee.
Stock up on well-priced items that will get snatched over too much syrah at this weekend’s Winter Holiday Arts Market benefiting Spacetaker. Selected young local artists congregate for a two-day event to showcase items you’ll want to give and receive – soaps shaped like cupcakes, belts and jewelry from Hello Lucky, hip silk scarves, whimsical prints, artisan jewelry from Petals & Metals, and modern stationery from A Punkin Card Company. You won’t be able to stop at just one present.
And then you can send Miss Unoriginal home with a bottle of wine. You know, since she’s pregnant.
Spacetaker’s Winter Holiday Arts Market
Friday, November 20th (5 – 10 p.m.)
Saturday, November 21st (11 a.m. – 8 p.m.) FREE at Winter Street Studios Featuring a DJ, performances, complimentary cocktails, and kid-friendly art activities www.spacetaker.org

One of our members is out of a certain fragrance oil that’s not being manufactured at the moment. She sent out an email to our member list asking if any of us had some to spare. I happened to have a pound of it that I’m not using, so I’m shipping it out to her tomorrow. Instead of cash I wanted the glass topped tins in a case she happens to carry in her store, so we’re going to barter for them! They are perfect for transporting samples. Everyone wins! It’s a great group of supportive soapmakers!

At Maker Faire I will have oval, round, rectangle, floral patterned and bees & honeycomb molds for people to use to create their own soap. I will also be bringing a box of toys, glitter and fragrances so you can make your soap look and have whatever you desire in it!
Here’s a fun cow soap I made with blue colorant, gold glitter and fresh rain fragrance in an oval mold.
